AURORA Failed M6 Playoffs

Team Liquid ID’s victory over AURORA on Wednesday (4/12) was one of the surprises in the M6 World Championship.

In Swiss Stage round 4, Team Liquid ID faced AURORA. Both of them fight in a ‘do or die’ battle where one will be eliminated. This badaktoto match is very interesting because both of them come from superior regions.

The battle for prestige became the headline of the battle, indeed, not many people thought that AURORA would fail in the M6 playoffs after stumbling.

Even so, the chance for Team Liquid ID to win is not that big. Anything can happen and whoever loses has to leave.

In the end, Team Liquid ID managed to beat AURORA 2-0 in the Swiss Stage round 4 match, Wednesday (4/12).

This defeat meant AURORA failed the M6 playoffs. The only remaining representative for the Philippines (PH) region is Fnatic ONIC PH.

This is interesting, with AURORA failing the M6 playoffs, there is only 1 PH representative left. This is not the first time this has happened in the history of the M-Series.

During the M1 World Championship in 2019, a similar moment also happened to ONIC PH and Sunsparks as representatives of the Philippines.

At that time, the two were in different groups. ONIC PH is in group D, meanwhile, Sunsparks is in group C. Sunsparks managed to become runner-up in group C, while ONIC PH had to be eliminated from the M1 World Championship.

Sunsparks also became the remaining PH representative in the playoffs. Now, on the M6 this moment is happening again.

Fnatic ONIC PH remaining in the playoff/knockout round. AURORA failing in the M6 playoffs was one of the unexpected moments.

It will be interesting to see what Fnatic ONIC PH’s struggle will be like. Thank you, AURORA for all your efforts and struggles in the M6 World Championship.
