NAVI has acquired the Indonesian organization, Rebellion Esports, to expand into the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports ecosystem.

This esports organization from Ukraine will field a roster to compete in MPL Indonesia Season 15, a franchise format MLBB badak togel competition in Indonesia, as well as MDL Indonesia Season 11, an MLBB development league.

Rebellion Esports has been competing in MLBB since 2021. This organization was ranked 8th in MPL Indonesia Season 14.

This is not the first time NAVI has entered the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene. In 2021 and 2022, this organization competed on the CIS scene and even managed to qualify for the 2021 M3 World Championship.

The expansion to MLBB means NAVI now competes in ten different esports titles. The organization has teams in various games, including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Call of Duty: Warzone.

“We have long planned to expand NAVI’s mobile division roster and build a team in one of the most watched games in the world, with a large fan base and mature esports ecosystem,” NAVI said in its announcement.

“After considering various options in various regions, we saw that our plan best suited the vision of Rebellion Esports management.”

NAVI is one of several esports organizations expanding into Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for 2025. Ahead of MPL Philippines Season 15, Twisted Minds and Team Falcons secured two franchise slots after the departure of Blacklist International and RSG.

Even though it was temporarily banned in the United States, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang continues to grow rapidly, both in Southeast Asia and globally.

In January 2025, this mobile MOBA game will officially expand to China by forming a new franchise league starting this year. Invictus Gaming has announced plans to compete in the league by forming their own MLBB division.

Apart from the MPL league which takes place in various regions of Asia, MLBB will also return to the Middle East as part of the Esports World Cup which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This multi-game tournament will feature the Mid-Season Cup as well as the Women’s Invitational for MLBB.
